Good morning my Russian friends! I'm a finnish student and just moved to Saint Petersburg for exchange studies. I've notivced that even young people can't speak english, I just tried to order something from a restaurant in my hotel. He told me "один часов" which is something I can understand. :D I am just amazed that he couldn't even be able to say "closed". I'm ofcourse a bit happy about this because now I must get better at Russian language. (Thats the reason I'm here, heh)
Do you have any recommendations what should I do here? My school starts next week and I have nothing but free time now. Any good restaurants or bars?
>>261980856 Not in my hotel restaurants, apparently. Also yesterday I went to get a new mobile number, the guy didn't know english at all and he was around the age of 20.
>>261980791 (OP) For a what fucking reason you want to spend any amount of your life in a shithole like Russia? It's kinda hard to understand people like you
>>261981179 I rather wouldn't, because what i've understood 2ch doesn't erase the exif-data of pictures I take (like finnish imageboards do) and I'm too lazy to do anything about it while mobile posting.
>>261981204 In Finland I live in a small town which has almost no services. Stores closes at 9pm. Saint Petersburg is a heaven compared to that.
>>261981476 >In Finland I live in a small town which has almost no services. Stores closes at 9pm. Saint Petersburg is a heaven compared to that. You could just go to Helsinki
>>261980791 (OP) It seems you haven't traveled a lot, usually it's not very easy to find a person with descent English anywhere outside places with developed touristic infrastructure. Also you've chosen a bad place to ask for advice, the site is even more retarded that 4chan.
>>261981616 I will, I moved in there only to study. I've lived in a bigger finnish city before that (one of the 3 largest cities in Finland) and it's still nothing compared to Saint Petersburg. Now I'm here for just exhange studies, because I got im to a really good school.
>>261980791 (OP) Install tinder, go for a drink to nekrasova street, there are many bars, хроники, цветочки, dead poets, imbibe, etc… visit new holland, sevkabel
:D Im strill learning the basics as you can see. I thought a trip to Russia would speed the learning process for me.
>>261980791 (OP) Donald Duck is quite a subtle detail here. He's extremely popular in Finland, however, everythere else that phenomena sounds like if Nipsu would become more popular than Moomintroll and got his own montly comic book
>>261980791 (OP) Juhani, this are you? Do you remember me? I am your classmate. I knew you for your schizoid words and texts. Do you remember, how we all classmates pissed in your cup in theird grade? You even drank, liked our urine and asked for other cup. Then your dad came to take you home, the same yardman who went to jail for thiefing of sweet in the supermarket. He came in the cabinet, everyone became laugh, you make a shit for shame and then you said you will hate the all yardmen, but then, in 9th grade you went to raid to bit yardmen and they raped your ass so rough what you stay in the hispital. How are you living, Juhannie?
>>261981476 > I rather wouldn't, because what i've understood 2ch doesn't erase the exif-data of pictures I take (like finnish imageboards do) and I'm too lazy to do anything about it while mobile posting. Just use it, luke https://www.verexif.com/en/
>>261983773 What makes you think finns speak perfect english? I'm just a regular guy, everyone in Finland can speak atleast as well as I can. Some better, older people not so much.
>>261980791 (OP) Almost all the bars and restaurants in the center of Peterburg are good. ou can check the reviews on maps. In addition, I recommend the trash bar ионотека (ionoteca), if it is still alive
>>261980791 (OP) If you are a guy from Finland - could you tell me some interesting about your culture? I saw the index of happiness in Finland is very high. Is it true?
>>261984496 >As all Russians, you forgot about the articles
>>261984406 I'm not sure what would be interesting to you. Goverment pays every poor people good money, free health care and we like drinking beer and going to sauna. I guess the "happiest" country has something to do with the free welfare. :D We're really not that happy.
>>261980791 (OP) You can find any natashka by tinder or /soc/ here and she will lick your butthole till it starts shining brighter than the sun. You can also pick up any girl on the street if you can prove you're not Russian
>>261980791 (OP) Unfortunately, we're not taught the English language in schools properly. There is no need to be good at it when everything is translated into Russian I guess, so no one cares about learning it. I'm always amazed by how good Scandinavians are at speaking the English language, I wonder what you guys do in schools that makes you speak it so well.
>>261986067 >how good Scandinavians are at speaking the English language
>>261980791 (OP) Dude, SpB is a really bad choice! To learn russian and Russia you should visit Chelyabinsk, especially Teplotech district at 2:00 AM local time, much fun and unique experience guaranteed.
>>261986067 Well, the key to learning a language is not having translations and dubs on your tv-shows and videogames. I didnt learn english from school, I learned it from world of warcraft and tv shows. Many kids here know a little english before going to school because of videogames.
>>261986191 This is also true. We're good at english but not so good when it comes to pronouncing. We call it "ralli englanti" (eng. Rally english) made famous by rally drivers who often pronounce everything really poorly when they are interviewed.
I fucked finnish girl once, but she wasn't sexy (typical for all finnish girls). I did it just to show again Russian supremacy over those deerfuckers. She also was exchange student in SPb and said her little brother going to study here too. So I guess you can call me brother-in-law.
Yleensä minusta näyttää siltä, että kakka osaa ajatella, heillä on omat perheensä, kaupunkinsa, tunteensa, älä huuhtele niitä vessasta, on parempi suojata heidät, puhua heille, hyväillä heitä ....
