There is no license unless you want to carry a pistol concealed or want to be a dealer. Some states have license requirements and waiting periods but they are all shitty states.

Process of buying a gun is basically

>Fill out a form with ~20 questions ensuring you arent a wife beater, on the run from police or illegal alien
>Gun dealer types it into a computer
>Wait 5-20 minutes (longer if they are busy)
>Paperwork comes back approved

If you want to you can do what is called a 'private sale' what that means is that I could sell a friend a gun without any of the paperwork mentioned above. Just meet up and trade cash for guns.

If you want suppressor, machinegun, short barreled rifle, grenades/explosives/grenade launchers or short shotguns there is more paperwork required.

Here is unique part of american laws. You can make your own guns from scratch legally. On an AR15 the lower reciever (silver area in photo) is the part that is considered the firearm legally. Everything but the lower reciever can be purchased off the internet and sent directly to your home.

The lower reciever in this photo was one I constructed on my mill from a forging. It is 100% legal and was constructed on my mill with parts I ordered online.

It is a HK93 because it is semi auto only, no machineguns here! The 226 is a serbian made copy known as CZ999 (No relation to CZ of Czech Republic)

Really fun rifle to shoot, very easy to bumpfire and very accurate. Downsides are that the magazines are expensive and the gun doesnt have the paddle mag release because semi-auto only

Its like a 226 but fatter, the trigger is okay for what it is. The entire gun cost me $280 so I feel it was a bargin for what it does. I compared it to a friends west german made P226 and the P226 trigger is a little lighter in double action but other than that they shoot the same. It isnt my favorite handgun but I keep it around.

Hence the carry size pistol, combat sized pistol, fighting rifle in 5.56, fighting rifle in .308 and 22. With those bases covered I branched out into other things such as the milsurp, galils and AKs.

Its on my list but once again I am not in a hurry for distance guns. I can hit man sized targets out to around 500m with the FAL. Here in mountains covered with trees 500m is usually around visual range.

Due to the way american laws are structured I can just buy a new upper off the internet for one of my ARs and have a SPR with optic, I am not too concerned with them going anywhere since they dont have the features that politicans frequently target (bayonet lug, grenade launcher cuts, etc)

Most mosin nagants in USA came from arsenals in ukraine, as a result they are sort of drying up. In the past 5 years ive watched them go from $80 to $160ish. I paid $120 for my m38 and $100 for my 91/30. There are also some chinese mosin nagants but those are all in terrible condition like all chinese guns. It appears the golden days of the mosin nagant in USA are over. My 91/30 was one of my first guns and I would never sell it.
