My grandfather saw an owl with tits in the forest.
Most of the regions have their own names for bigfoot: avdoshka for novgorod oblast, Almasty in the Caucasus region, indiginous Uralic people call it yag mort or menkv, Yakuts call it chuchuna. Even people living in tundra have their own version of a whistling humanoid covered with fur.
There's bunch of local lake monsters, the most known - Labynkyr monster from Yakutia. Sometimes stories about strange swamp creatures similar to gators or huge salamanders can be heard. There's tales about underwater people (vodyanoy, rusalka, shulikun and such).
Some people say there's walking trees and giant beasts (sometimes associated with leshiy and called Forest Master, "Хозяин Леса").
One time I've got stories about ariels (named after flying boy from Belyaev novel) - people with wings instead of arms.
And mammoths, of course. Big Black Cats sometimes.
Personnally haven't seen anything of that, just pet cemeteries.
Lots of different places seem to have their own stories and name for hairy men. Where I live there have been many sightings of them, they are called yowie here.

Talking about a traditional folklore, there are many forest creatures at any ethnic group legends. Leshiy in a Slavic mythology, abasy in Sakha legends and so on.
They endeavoured expedition to Tajikistan to prove the existence of bigfoot basing in rumours from geology research expeditions. It was in late 50s so I think bigfoot stories had not been imported. Just a troglodyte myth being a common thing for many human cultures.

No, we have a mostly quiet industrial town, nothing out of the ordinary has been noticed. If there were any Satanists, everyone would immediately know about it (as I said, the town is not the biggest and everyone knows each other). Apparently, some informals wandered through the forest and stumbled upon a cattle burial ground and decided to make this thing for a joke.
I remember about 2 years ago, a resident of my city made a thread in which he said that he went into the forest with a friend somewhere at midnight and on the way back he heard children's laughter from the thicket of the forest. The reaction was a little inadequate: dvacher and his friend laughed in response and loudly expressed their opinion what they think about the entire pedigree of a laughing child who is in the woods at midnight. They recorded their hike on video and this sound got into the recording, although on it it looked more like the sound made by a bird, which dvacher noted, expressing the theory that they woke up a bird in the night. But the situation itself is interesting. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the thread, but I remembered it when I found out about this pentagram of skulls.

I like hearing about folk lore and urban legends, tell as much as you can.
